myVersionControl Ideas Forum

myVersionControl has a great feature set of all the things that we think our customers need from a version control system, and as we are also users we believe we have a pretty good idea of what is needed. But we feel that our customers will have many more ideas than we have in queue so we have created an area specifically for you to suggest new features that you would like to see.

This feature suggestion forum will not only generate new feature ideas that we will add to myVersionControl as fast as we can, but also will help us prioritise our efforts as you can vote for other people's ideas as well!

Scheduled FTP backups now available

We all know how important it is to make good and regular backups, but how many of us can hand on heart really say we do?

myVersionControl has always had the policy that the data entrusted to us is yours, and at any time you are able to download everything from the control panel. However up until now, and in line with most other online version control vendors, you have had to manually download the backups yourself. Even the most diligent of us can forget from time to time to do this, so for our mission critical customers, we have released an automated scheduled backup feature. You now have the ability to schedule a ftp backup daily,weekly or monthly. Once set up the system will send your data to a ftp server of your choice without you lifting a finger.
